My Brothers Keeper is the modern day tale of
Cain and Abel. It follows 2 brothers with drastically different
views on life. Abel, 22 and married to the love of his life is
portrayed as the lead singer of a popular indie rock band. Very
artsy yet genuine, Abel sacrifices everything he has when his father
is diagnosed with a fatal heart condition. Cain, living his high
profile life of an executive at a Seattle based advertising firm,
only cares about his success and despises the relationship between
Abel and his family. Not understanding that his reality is true
because of his actions, Cain acts on his rage ending Abel’s life.
Through the pain of Abel's death and the terminal condition of their
father, My Brothers Keeper stays true to the biblical account while
